all, most, some, none, each, both falam de parte de um grupo. Antes de "the" ou de um pronome, entra o of: all of the students, none of them.

Sem "the" = ideia geral (most people = a maioria das pessoas em geral). Com "the" = grupo específico (most of the people here).
